QuantRanks is now PatalaRank
Same model. Same universe of roughly 500 stocks. Same monthly rankings. A new name, bringing everything together under the Patala Portfolio brand.
A refreshed homepage is coming soon. More on that later.
Two months ago, my model picked a stock that sits at the intersection of light and data. It makes the lasers and optical components that move data between AI servers inside data centers, and its last quarterly revenue more than doubled from a year earlier.
I bought it on August 17. Not because of the headlines. Because the rank said to.
Since that Monday, it’s up 16.3%.
And what a week. Last week it hit a new high Tuesday, dropped 5.6% Thursday, then bounced 5.2% Friday, setting another intraday high along the way.
This month, the same name is back near the top of the list.
PatalaRank runs once a month. It doesn’t remember what it bought last cycle, and it doesn’t care that the position is already working. It scores roughly 500 stocks fresh on this month’s data. This one landed near the top again.
Signal: BUY.
Capital stays invested, core and pick both.
How the picks are doing?
I’m introducing a simpler, more transparent way to track every weekly recommendation: $1,000 hypothetically invested in each stock at Monday’s opening price, compared with $1,000 in SPY at the same opening.
Nine picks so far. Every recommendation counted, including repeat buys. No cherry-picking.
9 picks so far: +19.45% vs. SPY’s +1.36%. Tickers are free for subscribers below.
